I’ve just had a great couple of days in the South West and stayed in Bristol. What a beautiful city! I could certainly spend more time there and it has two excellent Universities so I’m sure I’ll have the chance to go there more often. Very cold though but then where isn’t this time of year. If you’re ever looking for somewhere to stay, try the Clifton Hotel on St Paul’s Road. It’s only a few minutes walk from Clifton Village which is worth a visit and not too far from the centre. Be prepared for the poor parking situation though. I’ve never seen so many cars in one city but then there are 100’s more cyclists in Bristol than Sheffield even though there are as many hills – why is that?
